As per the program needy students from less developed areas such as FATA, KPK and Baluchistan will be offered scholarship to study in France.
Islamabad-Mr. Philippe Thiébaud, Ambassador of France to Pakistan, and Dr. Javaid R. Laghari, Chairman Higher Education Commission, will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on "HEC French Needs based Scholarship Program" (for deserving needy students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA & Baluchistan) on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 4:30 at the French Embassy, Diplomatic Enclave, G-5, Islamabad.
As per the program needy students from less developed areas such as FATA, KPK and Baluchistan will be offered scholarship to study in France. The scholarship will cover study costs. According to diplomatic sources, the purpose of the scholarship program is to augment government efforts for promotion of education in comparatively less development areas.-DNA
