Children of the black pearl-Balochistan picture exhibition was held on 30th of Jan. 2010 in Stockholm Sweden.
Kulturcentrum (Cultural Center) in Hallonbergen located in northern Stockholm hosted the event together with Studiefrämjandet (association for promotion of studies).
The event was produced and executed by the initiative of Homayoon Mobaraki, who had travelled to Balochistan in early 2009.
The exhibition started with the showing of a short documentary about the Baloch and Balochistan produced by Homayoon Mobaraki. The second act following the documentary was a presentation by Professor Carina Jahani regarding the oral literary tradition of the Balochs and also the Balochi language and its contemporary status.
