Earlier, speaking on a point of order, senator Hazel Bazenjo informed the upper house that 15 to 20 hours load shedding is being carried out in Balochistan due to which not only common man but also industrialists and farmers are facing enormous difficulties.
ISLAMABAD: Senator Hazel Bazenjo, hailing from Balochistan on Friday staged a token walk out from Senate against prolong load shedding in the Province.
Senators belonging to Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) also backed Senator Hazel Bazenjo on his token walk out from upper house against prolong load shedding in Balochistan.
Earlier, speaking on a point of order, senator Hazel Bazenjo informed the upper house that 15 to 20 hours load shedding is being carried out in Balochistan due to which not only common man but also industrialists and farmers are facing enormous difficulties.
The farmers are reluctant to lift cultivated crops from farms due to load shedding, he said. Senator Lashkar Raisani, who is also President Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Balochistan, also demanded of the house to ask Federal Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervez Ashraf to reduce load shedding in agriculture areas
