Three killed in attacks on FC in Balochistan
QUETTA: Two officials of the Frontier Corps (FC) were killed and four were injured when an FC patrol struck a landmine in Uch area of Dera Bugti, early on Saturday. “Two soldiers were killed and four others were injured in the incident,” an FC spokesman told AFP. A spokesman for the Balochistan Republican Army later claimed responsibility for the attack, AFP said. In another incident in Mastung of Balochistan, an assailant hurled a grenade at an FC team. The explosion killed a civilian and injured around a dozen people, including three FC personnel. The killed man, Muhammad Ibrahim, was said to be an Uzbek national. The assailant reportedly fled the scene. staff report/afp
