QUETTA: Balochistan's provincial capital was tense after the murder of Habib Jalib Baloch, Balochistan National Party - Mengal's Central Secretary-General, on Wednesday.
All educational institutions, including Balochistan University, will remain closed for two days.
Commercial areas in the city were shut down. Protesters forced shut several shops in the city's Jinnah road, Sariab road and other areas.
To control the security situation, police and FC personnel were posted across the city.
