Bitter sentiments: ‘Balochistan looted like a golden bird’
Former Balochistan chief minister and head of BNP party Sardar Akhtar Mengal has said the rulers have considered Balochistan a golden bird and each one of them looted it as per their capacity.
He added that the current rulers were also following in the footsteps of their predecessors. Talking to reporters here on his arrival in Quetta on Thursday, he said that the palaces in Islamabad change the cordial relations into bitter ones on account of myopic policies.
He said the incumbent rulers have failed in resolving the issues of Balochistan, which have further complicated. He said that the atrocities inflicted on the people of Balochistan are still going on unabated. He said that the solution to Balochistan’s problems could be had only when the people of the area are transferred all decision-making powers regarding their province.
